Introduction to Chanterelle Foraging


Location: Mountain Loop Highway, WA
Date: Saturday, October 21st, 10am-3pm

Join us for an introductory course on finding this popular fall mushroom!

We'll cover basic identification and growing habitat in one of the most mushroom rich forests in the country. We'll also be discussing several cocktail applications featuring fall fungi. Bonus mushrooms in the area include: Lobster, Hedgehog, Angel Wings, and Sparassis*

Directions, hold harmless agreement, and packing information will be emailed out the week before the class.

Light snacks provided. Classes take place rain or shine!

*Although we have done many foraging excursions to these patches over the years, there are no guarantees when it comes to hunting mushrooms. We will scout out our best hunting locations prior to class in order to make this experience as rewarding as possible!
